Sartorius has discontinued production on the CPA64S and all information displayed herein is for archival and support purposes only. We don't recommend you buy any left over CPA64S if you can even find them since the CPA64S was not RoHS Compliant and the microprocessor used in the CPA Series is no longer in production so there is a lack of parts and accessories for the CPA64S. Plus the new Sartorius Quintix 64-1S analytical balance has a touch screen display for much easier configuration and operation, USB connection and ability to transfer weigh data directly to Excel with no additional software or special configuration settings needed and many other features.
If price is an issue buyer beware if someone tries to sell you a used or left over CPA64 since in our opinion they are not worth buying especially when there is the new Sartorius Entris64-1S that will cost you under $1100. The Sartorius Entris64-1S which offers 60 grams weighing capacity with 0.1 milligram resolution but is external cal only.
CPA64 analytical balances replace the older Sartorius CP64 model. New and improved models feature a changed overlay keypad and isoCAL. If the ambient temperature fluctuates outside of a user-defined range or after a preprogrammed time interval, the isoCAL function will automatically perform internal calibration and adjustments at regular intervals with consistently high accuracy.
