Save some cash on this demo unit!! This analytical balance weighs up to 100 grams with readability to 0.0001 gram - Yes that is four decimal places and it is made in the USA. This balance was a demo unit used for trade show in demonstrations. The balance meets the manufacturer specifications and is calibrated by factory trained Sartorius technician prior to shipping to you. The balance has all the original packing material and operation manual, but the box will show signs that it was shipped around for before as a demonstrations unit. This balance is spotless and to most people they would think it is brand new, but the analytical balance was used once at a recent tradeshow we attended. Sartorius classifies this laboratory balance as DQE - Demo Quality Excellent. Demo balances carry a limited 12 month manufacturer warranty while new unit would have a 3 year warranty.
This digital balance comes with a 100 gram ASTM class 1 calibration weight, dust cover and RS-232 interface for connection to a computer or optional Sartorius printer. Only the Sartorius GD-503 comes standard with these items while competitive models typical charge lots of $$ for these accessories.
