Before buying a brand new Sartorius LA16001S high capacity precision balance, consider buying this used balance used for demonstrations instead.  All balances meet the manufacturer specifications and are calibrated by factory trained Sartorius technician prior to shipping to you.  The balances have all the original packing material and operation manual, but the box will show signs that it was shipped before to another customer.  The balance and weigh pan may have some small scratches that may show cosmetically that the unit's not brand new, but the balance will perform as a brand new unit.  Sartorius classifies these balances as DQE - Demo Quality Excellent.  All demo balances carry a limited 12 month manufacturer warranty.
