Wow 5500g x 0.1g electronic digital scale with a limited Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty for such a low price!!! This digital scale is untouchable when you compare what you'll pay Mettler-Toledo, Sartorius, Ohaus, Acculab, A&D Weighing for the same specifications. We know - how can you offer so much scale for such a little price??? The answer is efficiency and not worrying about feeding the insatiable frenzy for greater and greater earnings for Wall Street. A great example is Mettler-Toledo reported for the year ending December 31, 2005
a gross profit margin of 49.1%. Yes that is a 49.1% markup of cost of goods sold and then Mettler sells many of their products through a distribution channel that market the product up AGAIN. Ouch all those markups could make your head HURT. At this low price the i5500 scale can ONLY be purchased online. No phone orders will be accepted. Any questions about the i5500 are addressed below by scrolling down the web page so please don't call us when all the answers to your questions are below and you just need to take a minute and read.
Why pay more for those competitor brands like Ohaus or A&D when MyWeigh offers more for LE$$? Educators should show their prudent fiscal responsibility in spending the public's money on science classroom school balances and buy the MyWeigh i5500. We do accept school purchase orders over $2000
