We have NO remaining stock on the Ohaus EC30 and Ohaus has discontinued production on this counting scale in 2013. The information listed below on the Ohaus EC30 is for reference only for those people researching the specification on a Ohaus EC30 scale they already own. Ohaus EC30 parts counting scale offers durability and portability in one practical design. Geared for users seeking more economical and cost-effective counting solutions, the Ohaus EC electronic counting scales provide ease-of-use and reliable results.

The EC30 digital counting scales has 66 lbs / 30000g weighing capacity and offers readability to 0.002 lbs / 1g. We recommend when selecting a counting scale you choose a counting scale with readability 3 times greater than the lightest part you plan on counting. The Ohaus EC30 increments in 1g intervals, so the lightest part you count should be no lighter than 3 grams. A $1 bill weighs about 1 gram so your lightest part should be heavier than the weight of 3 dollar bills. Also a nickel weighs close to 5 grams so you would have no problem counting parts heavier than the weight of a 5 cent piece. Ideally suited for a host of counting applications, including annual inventories, stock rooms, and rentals, the EC30 counting scale can be used to count parts ranging from finished assembles to sub cartons being placed in a larger box. Choose from 4 different models in the [a href="http://balance.balances.com/scales/1013#counting_scale"]EC counting scales series HERE[/a].

Ohaus EC counting scales offer all the features demanded from industrial, warehousing and production applications, including easy-to-use manual Average Piece Weight entry with configuration options for either pound or gram display. The Ohaus EC30 parts counting scale is designed with a removable stainless steel weighing pan and durable ABS plastic housing, perfect for use in industrial environments. Additionally, the 80-hour internal rechargeable battery with power saving Auto-shut off feature and integrated carry handles provides true portability.

For fast and accurate counting, users simply place a known quantity of what they wish to count on the scale and press the dedicated Sampling Key or, for components where unit weight is known, simply input the value on the dedicated APW key. The counting scale will automatically display the total count of all parts on the pan as well as calculate and display the unit weight of the part. Users can start with a small sample size of 10, and then add random lots of pieces (below original sampling size) to increase their APW accuracy. The software in the machine automatically updates and enhances its average piece weight data as components are loaded onto the pan during counting. If the total weight or APW is too low, the EC Counting Scale will warn the user with a warning on the LCD panel.

Ohaus EC30 piece counting digital scales provide weighing, counting and accumulation application modes, and can perform both positive and negative counting, continuously keeping track of how many items have been added or removed from the scale. The counting scales have dedicated keys for the most common counting operations, including sample, tare, zero, APW entry stability, accumulations and pre-set tare entry. Preset tare weights can be quickly entered via the keyboard, or use the Tare key.

The memory accumulation feature keeps a running tally of each individual count – invaluable in batch counting operations or when accumulation counting large quantities of the same part. The Ohaus EC30 counting scales also include 10 memory locations for storing commonly used part weights, easily accessed using the numeric keypad.

Before you made your final decision be sure to see our best selling counting scale series - [a href="http://balance.balances.com/scales/1041/"]A&D HC-30Ki.[/a]The big selling point with the AND Weighing counting scale HC15Ki is the "weigh indicator separates from the base up to 30 inches" and the comparable model to the Ohaus EC15 would be the [a href="http://scaleman.com/hc-30ki-inventory-scale.html"]A&D HC-30Ki[/a].

The Ohaus EC-30 is a nice basic counting scale, but the price may be too expensive for your budget. We highly recommend you take a look at the [a href="http://balance.balances.com/scales/1202"]ECS 66LB Counting Scale[/a] or [a href="http://scaleman.com/my-weigh-cts3000-industrial-counting-scale.html"]Myweigh CTS3000[/a] since this counting scale is much lower in price and offers comparable specifications.
