Ohaus Voyager VP612CN precision balance (610g x 0.01g) is your precision weighing solution no matter how difficult the weighing task.  When you select the Ohaus Voyager toploading laboratory balance you get advance embedded software including statistics, formulation, statistical QC, differential weighing, density determination and more.  Plus, all Voyager lab balances come standard with motorized internal calibration - AutoCal™

Ohaus VP612CN is a "Legal for Trade" precision balance and we highly recommend you click the Certificate of Conformance hyperlink below in the balance specification table to fully understand the Ohaus VP612CN limitations.  The Ohaus VP612CN weighing specs are 610g weighing capacity and increments in 0.01 gram increments, but in the NTEP / Legal for Trade mode the increment is only in 0.1 gram graduations.

One design issue you should be aware of with the Voyager Series when the balance is used in the non-NTEP mode is the inability to disable the use of internal calibration.  The Ohaus line is the only balance we know of that does not allow you to disable the internal calibration.  Where this becomes an issue is most calibration A2LA Certification Calibration companies will NOT calibrate a balance unless the internal calibration can be disengaged.  If your balance is going to require A2LA Certification the [a href="http://balance.balances.com/scales/862/"]Sartorius CPA2202S Precision Balance[/a] may be a better choice.

Another design issue with the Ohaus Voyager 0.01g and 0.1 toploading balances is the windshield surrounds the platform implemented to deflect air currents from disturbing the weighing pan.  Notice how the windshield wraps around the weighing pan.  Sometimes this causes an obstruction in your weighing application where the item you are weighing "you think is on the platform" but actually the sample is touching the windshield, thus providing the incorrect weighing results.  The [a href="http://balance.balances.com/scales/862/"]Sartorius CPA2202S Balance[/a] and the [a href="http://sartorius.balances.com/sartorius/gp.html"]Sartorius GP3202[/a] doesn't have this windshield design and offers a larger weigh pan 7.4" x 8.0" since Sartorius refined their balance so well it needs no windshield.

Voyager Pro is available in either [a href="#lab"]4 Analytical[/a] or [a href="#scientific"]12 precision models[/a] and you can [a href="#lab"]see them all here[/a].

Before purchasing the Ohaus Voyager VP612CN with 0.01 gram resolution, consider a [a href="http://balance.balances.com/scales/538"]Sartorius GW6202 with internal calibration[/a].  If you choose a Sartorius GW6202 with internal calibration, you can weigh a total of 6200 grams, in comparison to the VP612CN's 610 gram capacity. Also, the Sartorius GW6202 has a larger weighing pan than the Ohaus Voyager VP612CN. Therefore, for just a lot less money than the Ohaus Voyager VP612CN, we feel the GW6202 with internal calibration from Sartorius is the best value Precision Weighing Balances has to offer and we tend to have them in stock for immediate delivery.

PLEASE NOTE: the Sartorius [a href="http://balance.balances.com/scales/538"]GW6202[/a] precision balance is NOT Legal for Trade. If your weighing applications require NTEP approval, you may be better off buying an Ohaus Voyager with the Legal for Trade certification.
