Displayed resolution up to 1 in 5,000 with the SK5001. This scale weighs in grams only so there is never any confusion over just what weighing mode the scale is in. Large 1 inch high easy to read wide-angle LCD display makes this a great selling point. Non-NTEP, should not be used for application of selling goods by weight. If you require Legal For Trade, NTEP Approved, Class III Scale then the SK5001 is the WRONG Scale and you should be looking at the SK5000.
The SK5001 is popular in the soil reclamation and environmental remediation industry for weighing and documenting soil samples with readability to 1 gram. Operates on 6 'D' size batteries (not included) up to 1200 hours with alkaline batteries or optional 110V AC Adapter is available for purchase.

A much more affordable digital scale is the My Weigh's KD7000 balance offering 7000g x 1g plus an additional 4 more weighing modes.
