Salter Brecknell ESA1500 precision balance is a low cost digital scale ideal for general laboratory, industrial, and educational applications requiring multiple weighing units.  ESA-1500 digital scale weighs up to 1200 grams in 0.02 gram intervals.  Salter recently changed the weighing capacity from 1500g to 1200g so please take note the weighing capacity is 1200 grams and the scale increments in 0.02 divisions. This precision balance features a large, 6.9 inch x 6.9 inch square weighing platform.

Salter Brecknell ESA balances are equipped with bi-directional RS232 for communicating with a PC.  These balances are portable and operate on 8 AA batteries (not included) as well as an AC Adapter.  Salter ESA-1500 balance supports external calibration but requires a calibration mass (sold separately).

Salter ESA series precision balances come standard with an RS232 interface for data communications.  If you purchase an Acculab Vicon or an Ohaus Scout, you are required to pay extra.  Salter Brecknell's economical balances integrate this feature at no additional charge, but again, with Ohaus or Acculab, you have to pay!
