Yes to calibrate the GE512-NTEP you simply turn on the scale, press and hold the tare key to start the calibration mode, then turn the knob located on the right side of the scale to engage the internal calibration weight and presto your scale is perfectly calibrated and ready for weights and measure to put the scale in service.
The GE-512 weighs in grams (510 g x 0.01 g), kilograms (0.510 kg x 0.00001 kg ) and carats (2550 ct x 0.05 ct ). Its the perfect legal for trade scale for any pawnshop or precious metals dealer buying in grams. The GE512 only weighs in the 3 weigh modes (g, kg & ct).
