Sartorius SIWADCP-V3 is a compact industrial scale in which a mechatronic weigh cell is used. This signum digital scale offers 7000g weighing capacity and increments in 0.1g graduations, IP65 washdown rated, and is rated for 300kg overload. The indicator features six (6) keys for basic weighing only. Speed-up technology makes the Signum uniquely fast, weighing in half a second.
Signum series of compact industrial scales have exceptional performance features and is very easy to operate thanks to its wide choice of features and accessories. Signum is extremely rugged-built and resistant, and perfectly adapts to any ambient conditions in industrial environments.
Particularly tough industrial environments call for unlimited safety during operation of a scale. Signum is reliably protected against extreme overloading and side impact, and dependably delivers repeatable weighing results even under fluctuating ambient conditions.
Signum scales are used for a wide range of weighing applications. Example could be incoming inspection: raw materials, primary products and semi finished goods are delivered in the widest variety of containers and quantities. Exact measurement and logging of the supplied quantity is the basis for all subsequent processing steps.
Wide range of options is one of many exceptional features of Sartorius Signum series. Users can choose from 14 different Signum scales offering three application levels, a variety of resolutions, a large selection of interfaces and other options. This adaptability makes Signum ideal for virtually any use, from simple weighing to demanding applications such as counting with automatic reference weight updating, product data storage with bar code input, or operation with a reference scale in two-scale systems.
The Sartorius Advanced Signum SIWADCP-V3 is built with a strain gauge and the linearity is stated at ± 0.3 grams. Adam Equipment offers a similar model called the PGL10001
that has a larger weighing platform than the Signum - 15.7" × 11.8" verses 13.7" x 9.4". inch platform.Strain gauge loadcells
don't provide the same performance and accuracy like a magnetic force restoration (MFR) balance
costing substantially more money. If you are on a budget with limited funds the SIWADCP-V3 might be your digital scale for your weighing application, but you do get what you pay for. You'll get better performance, linearity and repeatability with an electromagnetic weigh sensor like those found in the A&D GP-12K
, A&D GF-12K
or Sartorius CPA12001S
but this weigh sensor design cost more money. Watch our video here so you know what to expect in a strain gauge loadcell vs electromagnetic force restoration
