Signum SIWADCP-V5 is a compact industrial scale in which a state of the art mechatronic weigh cell. Speed-up technology makes the Signum uniquely fast, which means Signum scales can weigh in half a second.
Sartorius Advanced Signum SIWADCP-V5 [35 kg x 0.5 g] with Application Level 3, IP65 rating, RS232 interface and 13.7 inch x 9.4 inch platform.
Even though range of possibilities is so expansive, Signum is exceptionally easy to use. Display and control unit in the practical SlimLine design can be set up within minutes for optimum ergonomical use – whether next to the weighing platform, on a column, or mounted on the wall. Optional interfaces meet all the requirements for state-of-the-art data transfer, including Ethernet and PLC connectivity. Any Signum models can be fitted with an optional analog/digital converter for a second weighing platform, such as a reference scale or bulk weigher.
Signum series of compact industrial scales have exceptional performance features and is very easy to operate thanks to its wide choice of features and accessories. Signum is extremely rugged-built and resistant, and perfectly adapts to any ambient conditions in industrial environments.
Particularly tough industrial environments call for unlimited safety during operation of a scale. Signum is reliably protected against extreme overloading and side impact, and dependably delivers repeatable weighing results even under fluctuating ambient conditions.
Signum scales are used for a wide range of weighing applications. Example could be incoming inspection: Raw materials, primary products and semi finished goods are delivered in the widest variety of containers and quantities. Exact measurement and logging of the supplied quantity is the basis for all subsequent processing steps.
The Sartorius Advanced Signum SIWADCP-V5 is built with a strain gauge and the linearity is stated at ± 2 grams. Adam Equipment offers a similar model called the PGL30001
that has a larger weighing platform than the Signum - 15.7" × 11.8" verses 13.7" x 9.4". inch platform.Strain gauge loadcells
don't provide the same performance and accuracy like a magnetic force restoration (MFR) balance
costing substantially more money. If you are on a budget with limited funds the SIWADCP-V5 might be your digital scale for your weighing application, but you do get what you pay for. You'll get better performance, linearity and repeatability with an electromagnetic weigh sensor like those found in the A&D GP-30K
, A&D GF-30K
or Sartorius CPA34001S
but this weigh sensor design cost more money. Watch our video here so you know what to expect in a strain gauge loadcell vs electromagnetic force restoration
