Ohaus Voyager VP4101CN precision balance (4100g x 0.1g) is your precision weighing solution no matter how difficult the weighing task.  When you select the Ohaus Voyager toploading laboratory balance you get advance embedded software including statistics, formulation, statistical QC, differential weighing, density determination and more.  Plus, all Voyager lab balances come standard with motorized internal calibration - AutoCal™.  The Voyager VP4101CN is [a href="http://www.scalenet.com/applications/glossary.html#ntep"]NTEP Approved[/a] (a.k.a. [a href="http://legal-for-trade.balances.com/and/legalfortrade.html"]Legal for Trade[/a]) also for 4100g x 0.1g.

One design issue you should be aware of with the Voyager Series when the balance is used in the non-NTEP mode is the inability to disable the use of internal calibration.  The Ohaus line is the only balance we know of that does not allow you to disable the internal calibration.  Where this becomes an issue is most calibration A2LA Certification Calibration companies will NOT calibrate a balance unless the internal calibration can be disengaged.  If your balance is going to require A2LA Certification the [a href="http://balance.balances.com/scales/864/"]Sartorius CPA5201 Precision Balance[/a] may be a better choice.

Another design issue with the Ohaus Voyager 0.01g and 0.1 toploading balances is the windshield surrounds the platform implemented to deflect air currents from disturbing the weighing pan.  Notice how the windshield wraps around the weighing pan.  Sometimes this causes an obstruction in your weighing application where the item you are weighing "you think is on the platform" but actually the sample is touching the windshield, thus providing the incorrect weighing results.  The [a href="http://balance.balances.com/scales/864/"]Sartorius CPA5201 Balance[/a] and the [a href="http://sartorius.balances.com/sartorius/gp.html"]Sartorius GP8201[/a] doesn't have this windshield design and offers a larger weigh pan 7.4" x 8.0" since Sartorius refined their balance so well it needs no windshield.

Voyager Pro is available in either [a href="#lab"]4 Analytical[/a] or [a href="#scientific"]12 precision models[/a] and you can [a href="#lab"]see them all here[/a].

Before purchasing the Ohaus Voyager with 0.1 gram resolution, check out [a href="http://balance.balances.com/scales/779/"]Sartorius GP5202 precision balance[/a].  Why pay more for a balance that only offers 0.1 g readability, when you can have a balance with 0.01 gram readability for hundreds of dollars less?  We feel the GP5202 precision toploader from Sartorius is CLEARLY the best value Precision Weighing Balances has to offer and we have them in stock for immediate delivery.

Please be aware that the Sartorius GP5202 precision balance is NOT Legal for Trade.  If your weighing applications require NTEP approval, you may be better off buying an Ohaus Voyager with the Legal for Trade certification.

GP5202 toploading balance offers a maximum weighing capacity of 5200 grams and readability to 0.01 gram intervals.  This precision balance features a backlit LCD display, HUGE 7.4" x 8.0" weighing platform [Ohaus VP4101CN is 6.8" x 6.8"], RS232 interface, parts counting mode, and external calibration all for an unbelievably low price .  Ohaus Voyager balances feature internal calibration, while the GP5202 from Sartorius offers external calibration only.  To many people internal calibration is a really nice feature and if you believe this then maybe the VP4101CN is the best choice for your weighing application.  We prefer external calibration because it is more affordable, and external calibration is truly the only way to calibrate a balance to insure accuracy.  [a href="http://balances.com/scientech/factors.html" target="_blank"]Click here to learn additional benefits of external calibration[/a] verses motorized internal calibration.  Sartorius GP5202 balances are in stock and ready for immediate delivery.
