The AZ3102 is Sartorius entry level precision balance that does not offer all the advance features the Sartorius ED3202S, CPA3202S or Sartorius Cubis offers. The AZ3102 has a 6.85" x 5.63" weigh pan, RS-232 and calibration is achieved by purchasing an optional 2000g calibration weight. If you need a larger weighing platform, ability to weigh below the balance, or internal calibration then you'll need to look at one of Sartorius premium balance just referenced. Most weighing applications the AZ3102 has the features you need, but if you are not sure call the experts at Precision Weighing Balances to review your weighing application.
Sartorius backs the AZ3102 with a 2 year limited manufacturer warranty. You'll see many other balance manufacturer's only have a 1 year warranty and our only guess is their warranty is only 1 year since they don't expect their product last. Purchasing Sartorius you have over 140 years experience building quality balances and the AZ3102 is assembled in the USA.
