The replacement model is the Sartorius Entris 64-1S analytical balance or Sartorius Practum64-1S analytical balance. The information on this web page is for reference only to help anyone researching the balance specifications or needing the user manual that you can download above.
We don't recommend you buy any left over or used TE64S if you can even find them since the TE64S was not RoHS Compliant and the microprocessor used in the TE Series is no longer in production so there is a lack of parts and accessories for the TE64S. Plus the new Practum64-1S has a touch screen display for much easier configuration and operation, USB connection and ability to transfer weigh data directly to Excel with no additional software or special configuration settings needed and many other features.
The performance specifications of the Sartorius Talent series of balances set new accents in the class of compact and affordable laboratory balances. The performance specifications of the Sartorius Talent series of balances set new accents in the class of compact and affordable laboratory balances. Whether you need to weigh in laboratories, vocational training facilities, classrooms or in the field, with a Sartorius Talent series balance you'll always have just the right equipment.
Simply easy zero-error operation
This is where the new models prove their special talents. Just set them up, switch them on and you'll be on your weigh operation doesn't get any easier than this. On top of this are two additional talents that ensure error-free weighing: the high-quality display for easy reading and keys featuring positive click action. These balances have a talent for showing weight readouts within seconds. This makes weighing routines a real pleasure, especially when youre dealing with high sample throughputs.
Simply reliable Built with the ideal design framework
Superb weighing system technology, rugged construction of the balance housing, a sleek stainless steel weighing pan and a keypad sealed by an overlay ensure years of reliable service and weighing accuracy.
Simply included portability features
Many Sartorius Talent balances are battery-operable, giving you an alternative to stationary power outlets. (See Standard features at a glance for a list of these models). So you can take along a talented weighing instrument anywhere in the field. When you need true portability, just install eight commercially available 1.5 V AA batteries, and youre all set to go. The power saver feature extends the life of the batteries, whether or not theyre the rechargeable or non-rechargeable kind. This function will automatically shut off the balance after 2 minutes of non-use. Two more plus points for portability: the balances compact size and light weight.
Simply integrated application software
The Talent balances come standard with a variety of application programs built in, helping to simplify routine tasks:
- - Weighing in percent
- - Net-total formulation
- - Averaging | dynamic weighing
- - Counting of small parts
- - Toggling between two weight units
Sartorius Entris analytical balances display increments in 0.002 grains divisions. Long-range competitive shooters (600+ yards) always shoot for an edge over their rivals and one way is to shoot very uniform ammo. Weighing charges, bullets and primers to 0.002gn can make shot velocities more uniform within a shot string. Forget those inconsistent low cost strain gauge scales that weigh the same charge differently each time. If you want to win the competition you need every round to the exact kernel.
In the video above we will walk you through the steps to change the default factory setting of grams to grains. once you make these changes your balance will power up each time in the grains mode. In this demonstration we use the Entris224-1S, but the steps are the same for all Sartorius Entris models.
In the video above we demonstrate the Sartorius Entris224-1S analytical balance and how easy calibration is when you purchase the optional calibration mass. The Sartorius Entris 4 decimal place balances offer a large draftshield with 3 sliding doors. See the quick settling time as we place calibration weights on the weighing platform. Get a better understanding of what each keypad does and how you can enter into the balance configuration menu to change the factory default setting to better meet your specific weighing requirements. The Sartorius Entris is easy to configure to optimize for your individual weighing application.
Need more accuracy? Do you need a 5 decimal place gram balance? The Sartorius Secura and Quintix semi microbalances are amazing. In the YouTube video above you will see the Sartorius Secura225D-1S semi microbalance [0-120g x 0.01mg] [120-220g x 0.1mg]. We highlight the intuitive operation using the SmartTouch user interface that is so easy to use you'll probably never need to reference the user manual. We also demonstrate the ergonomic draftshield and show how easy it is to dismantle the balance for easy cleaning.
Also you'll get a close up view of the new "collection container". The collection container is designed to keep the spill from entering the lab balance that could cause potential damage to the balance. Sartorius' revolutionary "collection container" features a rimmed design to keep the spill from entering if you happen to spill any liquid or granular samples while weighing.
If the Secura225D-1S is more balance than you need for your weighing application then be sure to see the Secura 125-1S, Sartorius Quintix125D-1S, Sartorius Quintix65-1S or Sartorius Quintix35-1S. Sartorius is our #1 selling laboratory weighing balances since they are the leaders in building high quality weighing instruments.
